What’s the first thing I should do?

Simple. Complete an online application form. The application deadline for vacation placements is 31 December and training contract applications 31 July each year. Our 2024 applications are now closed. Applications for 2027 training contract open on 24 October 2024.

Need some advice? No problem. Here’s a little collection of hints and tips to help you through the process and (more importantly) help you stand out.

What happens after I’ve applied?

Once the deadline has shuffled by,  we’ll review all the applications and select candidates that we’d like to invite to an assessment day.

What’s an assessment day?

These are very similar to sas: who dares wins… only kidding. An assessment day involves you spending half a day at our offices to carry out a workshop style exercise.

What if I do really well on the day?

As well as basking in the glow of your own glory and brilliance, you’ll be offered a place on the vacation placement scheme.

We’ll give you dates for a one week placement and you’ll have a choice of department. For training contract applications, after the assessments, if you are successful you’ll be invited to a face to face interview with two partners/directors.

If you have carried out an assessment day/interview, we let you know the outcome usually within two weeks.

This all sounds a bit daunting!

Don’t worry. We know this might feel intimidating but it’s in our interests for you to do well. We want your application to be amazing and we want you to succeed.
